Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers injury update shared by Doctor
Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers may not return again this season with a potential hamstring injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the 21-year-old may see his rehab continuing over the summer if he fails to recover before the end of May.
The English winger picked up an injury during the Brighton clash on 5 May and managed to play just 26 minutes.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“Rogers had to receive treatment on the pitch in the game against Brighton.
“He has a hamstring injury which aligns with the image where physios are testing the hamstring.
“His availability will really depend on the severity of the strain.
“If he can’t return before the end of the season, then his rehab will continue into the summer.“
Morgan Rogers has been a revelation for Aston Villa this season
The 21-year-old signed for Villa in January from Middlesbrough and has hit the ground running in the Premier League.
In 11 league games, he’s already managed to score three goals which is more than the two he managed over 26 Championship matches.

Unai Emery has primarily used him on the left wing but he’s also thrived in a more central role behind the striker.
In other Aston Villa news, an injury expert has issued a fresh update on Jacob Ramsey who may now have a stress fracture.
