Aston Villa v Everton: Doctor shares injury news on Robin Olsen
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Aston Villa.
Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen is at risk of missing the Premier League clash against Everton due to bone bruising, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that while it’s a knock, its intensity is based on which part of the leg it’s being sustained in.
If the Sweden international is back in full training, then he will be subject to a late fitness test ahead of the game on Sunday, 14 January.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“Knocks can be serious depending on the specifics – location, severity, and if there’s any bone bruising which might be the case here.
“If he’s back in full first-team training then he’ll be in contention but there’s a chance he misses the next game.
“A fitness test will be carried out to ensure he’s ready to play, regardless.“

The 33-year-old has been the backup to Emi Martinez – who’s played in all but one Premier League this season.
His last appearance was in the 2-1 victory over Legia Warsaw at the end of November and did not make the matchday squad in their FA Cup win against Middlesbrough over the weekend.
Unai Emery will undoubtedly be hoping that his number two goalkeeper is back in action sooner rather than later.
In other Aston Villa news, a Sky Sports pundit has savaged a first-team player and called him “Foolish” after what he did recently.
