Jadon Sancho blasted as Aston Villa transfer from Manchester United mooted for January, ‘ludicrous’
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
Jadon Sancho is unlikely to make the move to Aston Villa in January as his attitude could be an issue for Unai Emery, according to Ty Bracey.
Speaking to GiveMeSport on 12 September, the former Eurosport journalist Dean Jones said it is “very plausible” that Villa will try and sign the 23-year-old when the transfer window opens.
The England international is currently exiled from the first team at Manchester United after Erik ten Hag criticised his performances in training on 3 September, with the winger responding on social media by saying he has “been a scapegoat for a long time” following his manager’s comments.

Bracey doesn’t believe a move to Villa Park is likely for Sancho as the Villans wouldn’t pay his “ludicrous” wages following his public fallout with the Red Devils boss.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I think there’s been some disciplinary issues at Man United and Ten Hag has a strict regime there.
“My only worry with Sancho is the wages, I think he’s on a ludicrous wage. I think he’s on something like £350,000 a week, which I just don’t think we’d pay, especially for someone who can’t turn up to training on time.

“When you’re paid those types of wages, you can’t be turning up to training late because you’re playing on FIFA all night.
“I think it’s ludicrous, but if the discipline isn’t going to change, I don’t think it will happen. I don’t think that’s an attitude of a player Emery would want in the team, I really don’t.”
