Rachel Daly needs help from Aston Villa Women teammates, she cannot do it alone
Aston Villa Women are finding it tough in the Women’s Super League this season, with the club currently sitting third from bottom.
Carla Ward’s side have won just two of their eight matches so far, losing the other six to leave them on just six points.
Only West Ham United and Bristol City sit below the Midlands club in the standings, with the duo currently on four points.

Amid all the doom and gloom, there has been one shining star at Aston Villa Women, and that is attacking sensation Rachel Daly.
The forward banged in 22 goals in last season’s WSL to clinch the Golden Boot award, and is clearly keen on securing the trophy once more this time around. But she undoubtedly needs more help from her teammates, with Daly scoring four of the club’s 10 goals so far.
That figure places her just two goals behind leading scorers Khadija Shaw, Lauren James and Martha Thomas of Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham respectively.
The Midlands club have been flying in the FA WSL Cup, defeating Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers 5-0 and 7-0 respectively.

But again Daly needs help if the club are to reach the latter stages of the competition, with the striker banging in five goals from those two games.
It means that Aston Villa Women have scored 22 goals in all competitions this season, with Daly scoring nine of them.
While Ward will be delighted to see Daly in such rich form once again, the manager must be doing all she keen to ensure all of the goalscoring burden does not fall onto her star striker’s shoulders.
In other Aston Villa Women news, Daly recently sent a two-word message to Alisha Lehmann as training images emerged at the Midlands club.
