NSWE ready to sanction more new Aston Villa transfers – Finance Expert
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist, he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Aston Villa.
Dan Plumley has insisted that NSWE look ready to sanction more new transfers at Aston Villa ahead of their European quest starting this week.
It comes after Fabrizio Romano reported that Villa were set to sign Jack Harrison from Leeds United, only to be put off by his recent injury woes.
The finance expert admitted that NSWE now look willing to invest again after the arrivals of Youri Tielemans, Moussa Diaby and Pau Torres already.

“That is consistent in the way in which Villa have gone around their business,” he exclusively told Villa News.
“Also, this is another thing you have got to factor in when qualifying for Europe as you’ve got to then play Thursday and Sunday effectively for a long part of the season and that is something they haven’t had.
“So, that puts different pressure on the squad and in many ways, you are forced into the transfer market, if nothing else but to bolster the number in the ranks.

“That’s part of the narrative here, but it does show that the owners appear willing to invest and we have already seen good business so far from Villa.”
In other Aston Villa news, the future of this loanee hangs in the balance as contract talks await.
