Aston Villa value to soar with more investment on cards – Finance Expert

We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist, he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Aston Villa.

Dan Plumley has insisted that the worth of Aston Villa is only going to rise as the club issued yet more new shares this month in May.

The finance expert admitted it was only a positive for the club, with more investment likely to follow in the future, with the trend continuing.

It shows that NSWE are committed to the club with the Villa Park redevelopment and inner-city academy base only two possible areas where it could be used.

“That’s where you are speculating,” he exclusively told Villa News.

“We don’t see from the outside looking in, you just see the issue. It could be used for a variety of things, to help run the club or to look to the long term.

It is probably looking to the long term given where Villa are at, and I think more wider than that, it seems to be a tactic of the owners to do that.

From the outside looking in, it looks really positive for the club, and that means that the owners are committed to it and the project there. On the base of it, any share issue is usually a good thing because it will stimulate more worth in the club and more investment in the future.”

This is only positive news, and hopefully that continues.

With matters on the pitch better than they have been for many years now, long may it continue in the boardroom too with these changes pushing the club forward.

In other Aston Villa news, the future of this loanee hangs in the balance as contract talks await.
