Don Hutchison names Aston Villa ace Tyrone Mings in Team of the Week
Aston Villa lost to Manchester City 3-2 on the final day of the Premier League season but Don Hutchison was impressed with Tyrone Mings.
The Villans led the game for an extended period of time at the Etihad Stadium and the England international did well to keep the City attackers at bay.
However, they shipped three goals in the final 20 minutes of the match but that did not stop Hutchison from naming him in his Team of the Week.

He said on Premier League Fanzone, “I think he was very solid at the back. Made a few mistakes at the end but that’s fine.”
Agreed
Mings may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it can’t be denied that he had a solid game against Manchester City.
He may be extremely inconsistent and has that streak where he makes needless errors, but on his day, he is a top defender.
There is a reason why Gareth Southgate rates him so highly and has even called him up to the England side on a number of occasions.
Regardless of his performance against City, Villa need to sign at least two central defenders in the summer to push Mings and Ezri Konsa to up their game.
Nobody in this side must be complacement about their spot in the eleven.
If the Villans are to fight for a top-half finish and maybe even a European place then they need to get their signings right and strengthen in the right positions.
In other Aston Villa news, Steven Gerrard is very keen to bring Liverpool defender Joe Gomez to the club.
