Leon Bailey looks set to leave Aston Villa after the transfer deadline passes.
English clubs have until 11pm on Tuesday to secure new additions to their squads.
The Jamaican had looked set to join newly-promoted Hull City, but that deal fell apart, after personal terms were not agreed.
However, he could still be on the way out of Villa Park in the very near future.
The English deadline does not apply to foreign clubs, so there is potential exit avenues available to Bailey.

Who wants to sign Leon Bailey in post-deadline swoop?
Bailey has attracted interest from Spanish side Sevilla, as well as the Tigers in the last few weeks.
However, it seems like Saudi Arabia is the most likely destination at the minute.
The Athletic's Jacob Tanswell claimed on Tuesday that Al-Ittihad and Diriyah Club are exploring a move for the 29-year-old, who has 12 months remaining on his contract in B6.
His report states that the Villa outcast could seal a post-deadline departure, as the Saudi window is open until 6 September.
It seems like the right move for all parties.
What has gone wrong for Bailey at Aston Villa?
Bailey has been firmly left out of Unai Emery's plans in recent months, as it has become clear that the Spaniard does not rate him.
The 41-cap international played 19 times for the Villans last season, but the majority of those appearances, were from the substitutes bench.
He is yet to feature this campaign, with the manager preferring youngster George Hemmings and experienced John McGinn on the flanks.
Bailey has been training on his own, rather than with the rest of the Villa squad, given the uncertainty over his future.
Hopefully, the Villans can make a decent amount of money on the veteran, who has not hit the heights expected of him, and can move on from this chapter with a boost to their finances.
