Kadan Young spotted at new club's stadium with Aston Villa gem on verge of exit
Aston Villa starlet Kadan Young has been spotted in the Bosuilstadion ahead of a move to Royal Antwerp, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgian journalist reported on 2 February that the winger has been spotted at the home of the Pro League outfit ahead of a clash with Club Brugge on Sunday (2 February).
The 19-year-old now looks set to join the Great Old from Villa Park on a loan switch until the end of the campaign.
Kadan Young to join Royal Antwerp from Aston Villa
It looks like it is going to be a busy few days at Bodymoor Heath with the winter transfer window coming to an end on 3 February.
This could see the likes of Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio come in which will leave the academy product even further down the pecking order in B6.
As a result, it makes sense for Young to join Kosta Nedeljkovic in leaving the Villans on a temporary basis in the hope of Unai Emery before returning in the summer.
This will be a great chance for the young forward to have the chance to play regular men's first-team football in the Belgian Pro League.
It will be interesting to see how the 19-year-old copes with the demands of senior minutes in a top league away from Villa Park.
In other Aston Villa news, Marco Asensio is set to jet into the UK for a medical after a salary update from Fabrizio Romano.
