Evann Guessand could be on his way out of Aston Villa this summer.

The Ivory Coast international certainly hasn't garnered any positive reviews since moving to Villa Park.

There has been general frustration aimed towards the forward due to his consistently poor performances.

That is all despite his move from OGC Nice being marked as a massively exciting transfer,

The 25-year-old's time in B6 was summed up by his January move to Crystal Palace.

Guessand has since returned to the Midlands, but utilise a familiar exit strategy this summer.

There have been calls from fans all summer to part ways with the Ivorian.

That hasn't been the case so far as the forward has played a role throughout pre-season.

He hasn't helped himself with some shocking performances, including Friday's against Bayern Munich.

Guessand could now be on his way back in a return to Crystal Palace, according to Alan Nixon.

He reported via Patreon on Saturday that the Eagles want the 25-year-old back on loan.

Should he leave on loan again and have a terrible time of it, Villa risk having an even smaller chance of making any money.

That is why a permanent move would make more sense this season, although a loan may be the only route out for the Ivorian.
