Aston Villa look set to sign Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Villains are looking to do business in the final stages of the window to try and recover from several big-name departures.

Details on Ibrahim Mbaye to Aston Villa

According to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Mbaye has signed his Villa contract this Monday.

It is understood his deal will run for five years, and includes a one-year extension.

Villa will pay £47million up front for the winger.

The French giants will also be due 10 per cent of any future sale, and an announcement is set to follow the update.

The teenager is primarily a right-winger, though he also has the ability to play on the opposite flank.

Though, it's clear to see what Emery wants to do with him.

Where will Mbaye fit in at Villa?

Villa are looking to restructure their squad, and Mbaye is another example of how Emery hopes to restart with fresh talent.

The Villans currently have John McGinn to rely on out on the right-hand side of attack, with Alysson behind him as support.

However, Mbaye's impending arrival could see McGinn moved back into midfield, with Alejandro Garnacho and George Hemmings options on the left flank.

Villa will be hoping their big investment pays off in Mbaye, who played 32 times for PSG last season.
