When Alejandro Garnacho is likely to make Aston Villa debut as training footage drops

Aston Villa could soon get their first look at Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentina international has been introduced at Villa Park as the latest signing in claret and blue.

He adds much needed depth in the wide areas as Unai Emery looks to improve his squad going forward.

That is certainly needed after the struggles of Evann Guessand and Leon Bailey last season.

There are high hopes for the 22-year-old as he looks to truly reach his potential with the Villans.

The B6 faithful want to see Garnacho in action and they might not have to wait long to do so.

Alejandro Garnacho already in Aston Villa training

The 2004-born talent is coming off the back of a busy campaign with Chelsea where he made 43 appearances in all competitions.

Reviews certainly weren't positive at Stamford Bridge, that despite his 12 goal involvements for the Blues.

The attacker was described by Enzo Maresca as "fantastic" after his performance against Wolves in November, something which will endear himself to the claret and blue faithful.

He has now sealed a move to B6 as his 2.06 chances created, 2.34 shots, 0.99 successful dribbles and 3.90 duel wins per 90 caught the eye of Emery and Co.

That was all joined by his average of 4.97 defensive actions per game that could make him an asset for the Villans.

Excitement has started to build for exactly that reason, especially now that he's begun training at Bodymoor Heath.

Footage was shared by Villa on Monday showing the winger working with his new teammates.

That could put him in line to soon make his B6 debut with several pre-season friendlies in the schedule.

Could Garnacho make his debut vs Real Sociedad?

The Villans have already faced Walsall and Porto this summer, but have plenty of other fixtures in the pipeline.

A return to the Pallet Track Bescot Stadium awaits as Real Sociedad travel to the Black Country.

That could prove to be the perfect opportunity for Garnacho to feature after appearing in training.

The Argentine has never faced the Spanish outfit, so it could make for a career first and he could make a point to prove so many people wrong who are doubting him.

If not, the new signing could wait until next Tuesday when the Villans face BG Pathum United in Thailand.
