Is it deja vu all over again at Aston Villa after Unai Emery's Alejandro Garnacho admission?
Alejandro Garnacho has not been able to make much of an impact at Aston Villa just yet.
The 22-year-old winger arrived on loan from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Villa also have a conditional agreement in place with Chelsea to make the deal permanent for a fee of £42.5million based on appearances.
But for a third straight game, Garnacho was left as an unused substitute on Villa's bench as his team-mates turned over Coventry City 3-1 in the Carabao Cup.
Tammy Abraham scored twice and Ross Barkley was also on target at Coventry Building Society Arena.
It felt telling that Garnacho couldn't get on the pitch even in a third-round Carabao Cup tie, and it begs the question: "Have we been here before?"

Speaking after the game, Unai Emery did not exactly give any assurances to Garnacho.
He did hint at the fact that Garnacho is behind others in the pecking order due to the concussion injury in pre-season.
Emery said: "(He has to) continue working. Work, work, train, work. When he can have minutes to play, try and play well. He is progressing, but we have players in front of him now.
“George (Hemmings) is playing fantastic. Alysson is also understanding things well and is giving us things I want. (Ibrahim) Mbaye also responded well. We want a competitive team and players to compete in the style we have.”
It all feels a little like it did this time last season when Harvey Elliott was on loan from Liverpool.
Similarly to Garnacho, Elliott needed game time after falling down the pecking order at Liverpool, and there was hope he could be a shrewd signing.
Elliott also had a conditional option, and it quickly became apparent Villa were not going to want to fork it out.
Across the whole campaign, Elliott made just nine appearances in a Villa shirt after being ostracised from the first-team picture.
It might be too early to think that Garnacho is on the same trajectory, but you can't help but get that familiar sense of Deja Vu.

Time will only tell if Garnacho is on the same path as Elliott, but he certainly needs one thing and that's minutes.
In the the Premier League, Garnacho has clocked up just three appearances, averaging 12 minutes in those games.
As such, he has far not scored any goals, which is no surprise given he has not yet taken a shot in anger in a Villa shirt.
He has an expected assists of just 0.1, and has only had 7.3 touches on average during his time on the pitch.
There have been no key passes or big chances created, but again it is not as if he has had much chance to impact games.
He is averaging 33 per cent of duels won in that time, but the simple fact is unless he gets minutes we are not going to see the best of Garnacho at Villa.
