Aston Villa will aim to gather momentum ahead of next week's Europa League final when Liverpool make the trip to Villa Park on Friday.

Unai Emery’s men head into the contest without a win in their last three Premier League matches, most recently drawing 2-2 with Burnley on Sunday after defeats to Fulham and Tottenham.

That run has left their place in the top five under greater pressure than expected.

Liverpool have moved above Villa in recent weeks, while Bournemouth continue to narrow the gap.

As well as strengthening their bid to finish in the top five, Villa will be eager to restore confidence before travelling to Istanbul, as they take on the soon-to-be-deposed champions at Villa Park.
