'Dibling to light up Villa Park', Southampton to accept £40m - Exclusive
Aston Villa could be forced to pay a sizable fee if they are to land Tyler Dibling this summer.
The 19-year-old certainly caught the eye last season despite his Southampton side being relegated in one of the worst showings in Premier League history.
That has seen the versatile attacker be strongly linked with a number of top clubs, with a potential Villa Park switch still on the cards as things stand.
Now, Unai Emery has learnt how much the Saints could demand from the Villans to land the teenage talent ahead of what is destined to be a busy campaign.
Southampton to set Dibling price tag
There is no getting away from the fact that the B6 club are in need of attacking reinforcements moving into the new season.
This is especially the case, having lost Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford at the end of their six-month loan spells in the Midlands.
With that being said, no deals have been struck for forwards at a first-team level, leaving an open door if Monchi wants to bring Dibling in this summer.

Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes Southampton could demand upwards of £40million for his signature, in what would be a positive B6 signing.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Allen said: "When you qualify for European competition, you need a lot of players.
"You need to revitalise your players, you need two players in each position to give everyone a rest.
"With Tyler Dibling, he could come in and not just be a bit part player, he would light up Villa Park. For me, he's worth a minimum of £40m.
"He's got a real talent, and he shows that by getting in behind full backs.
"If I were Southampton, I wouldn't let him go for any less than that."
Aston Villa could still sign Dibling
This summer, the Villans have shown an active interest in bringing in the best young talent as opposed to ready-made stars.
This has seen links to the likes of Sverre Nypan come and go, while a deal with Toulouse for youngster Jaydee Canvot continues to be negotiated.
With that in mind, Villa could accelerate an approach for Dibling before one of their Premier League rivals lands the young attacker before them.
