Alysson surely in line for first Aston Villa start, he’s done something Unai Emery will love
Alysson is yet to start a single game since signing for Aston Villa from Gremio in January, but that could soon change..
The Brazilian emerged as a surprise target for the Villans in the winter before a move was quickly sealed.
He certainly joined as an unknown quantity as a 19-year-old with no experience outside of South American football.
The Villa Park faithful have only caught small glimpses of his game so far, but are largely encouraged by what they’ve seen.
There will now be hopes of Alysson finally starting in claret and blue after doing his best to impress Unai Emery in B6.

Alysson showed his work rate vs Chelsea
No one associated with the Villans will want to re-live the events of Wednesday night as their side were torn apart by Chelsea.
Liam Rosenior’s men netted four as they came back from behind with relative ease to secure a massive three points.
There was very little positive to say about the B6 outfit and their performance against their Champions League qualification rivals.
Alysson was a rare bright spark when he came on, as he was one of the only players on the pitch for the hosts to show a bit of heart and desire.
The teenager featured for 27 minutes and picked up just 11 touches, but was still able to maintain a 100 per cent pass accuracy.
He also showed Emery what he is about with his two recoveries while also taking one shot from inside the Villa Park penalty area.
This all may not have changed the game, but it was the sort of cameo showing that should catch the eye for the B6 outfit.
Alysson should replace Leon Bailey in starting XI
The Villans are crying out for a bit of creativity, work rate and most importantly, passion in their squad right now.
That is something that Alysson can provide, but has been missing from someone like Leon Bailey in recent weeks.
The Jamaica international has been guilty of his work rate dropping recently, and that continued against Chelsea, where he was dribbled past once and won just half of his attempted duels.

A spell on the bench could make sure he knows that he isn’t a guaranteed starter, even with the current state of Villa’s wingers.
It would also make sense to get Alysson in and amongst the starting XI to see if he can find his feet in new surroundings.
