Jadon Sancho right to fume at Unai Emery after baffling Aston Villa decision vs Wolves
Unai Emery isn’t doing himself any favours at Aston Villa after the 2-0 defeat against Wolves.
The Villans were absolutely horrific as they lost to one of the worst sides in Premier League history at Molineux on Friday.
There were no positives to take for the away side as the team selection raised questions before substitutions were even more confusing.
Jadon Sancho started and showed some flashes of quality, but was bizarrely hooked by the Spaniard with half an hour to go.
The Englishman was rightly furious with the decision, with many fans feeling the same way towards Emery in the Black Country.

Jadon Sancho was fuming on the bench vs Wolves
The Manchester United loanee has genuinely been one of the best players in claret and blue in recent weeks, despite his lack of goal output.
If he could get more goals and assists on the board, there is no doubt that he would be looked upon favourably by a wider footballing audience.
It doesn’t appear that Emery got the memo, as he opted to take the winger off to be replaced by the faltering Leon Bailey.
Sancho wasn’t happy with the call, as reports from Molineux suggested that he punched seats on the bench after being substituted.
That doesn’t paint a great picture for the B6 club, especially considering the winger would have been good value to stay on the pitch.
Sancho was arguably best Aston Villa player at Molineux
The reaction to the Wolves defeat has caused huge frustrations on social media, but the reaction has been generally positive towards Sancho.
The 25-year-old didn’t do very much, neither did any of his teammates, but he still created one chance while chipping in with four defensive actions.
His 78 per cent pass accuracy wasn’t awful considering he also completed one dribble and looked dangerous times down the right.

He was replaced by Bailey, who had one shot blocked while failing to complete a single dribble, create a chance or complete either of his attempted crosses against Wolves.
That gives Sancho every reason to be fuming towards Emery, who just continues to get selection decisions frustratingly incorrect.
