How to watch Wolves vs Aston Villa: TV channel, live stream and kick-off time

Aston Villa are looking to bolster their top-three credentials when they face Wolves at Molineux on Friday.

Villa‘s Premier League form has stuttered in recent weeks, with the Brummies winning just two of their last seven matches, including a 1-1 draw with Leeds at Villa Park last weekend.

However, as Unai Emery seeks his 100th win in charge of Villa against Rob Edwards‘ Wolves, they remain third in the table, but are facing pressure from the chasing pack of Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Here, Villa News brings you everything you need to know to watch the game on Friday night.

How to watch Wolves vs Aston Villa

Wolves come into the match having lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace on Sunday, and they look destined for relegation.

Edwards has had a positive impact since arriving in the Black Country, but they are still rooted to the bottom of the table, 17 points from safety.

The Premier League clash between Villa and Wolves will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.

The last meeting between the two sides finished 1-0 to the Villans, with the now-injured Boubacar Kamara scoring a stunning goal from long range on 30 November.

Emery desperately needs to find a solution to Villa’s stuttering form, and he’ll have to rely on Douglas Luiz and Amadou Onana to step up their game in midfield.

Douglas Luiz and Amadou Onana’s influence vs Wolves will be crucial

With Kamara, John McGinn and Youri Tielemans all out of action, Onana and Luiz have a lot of responsibility in the centre of the park.

Wolves have used a two-man midfield with Mateus Mane dropping deeper in recent weeks, leaving the middle of the pitch congested.

Although Villa might be outnumbered, Onana and Luiz’s range of passing will prove to be the key to unlocking the bottom side’s defence.

And if they produce the quality that they are capable of, then Villa should comfortably secure a much-needed three points.
