Ezri Konsa continues fine form as Ollie Watkins woeful – Aston Villa player ratings vs Wolves
Aston Villa fell to a 2-0 defeat against lowly Wolves on Friday evening.
Unai Emery‘s side travelled to Molineux on 27 February looking to bounce back from the 1-1 draw with Leeds at Villa Park.
Villa were looking to consolidate their place in the Champions League places against their local rivals, who are bottom of the Premier League.
Wolves took the lead through Joao Gomes in the 61st minute, and the visitors could not respond to that setback as hard as they tried, and Rogrigo Gomes put the finishing touch on it in the 97th minute.

Ezri Konsa stars again despite Villa loss vs Wolves
Ezri Konsa was the star man in the draw with Leeds, and he continued his fine run of form against the relegation strugglers.
He completed 99 per cent of the 78 passes that he attempted, and also managed to find the target with 80 per cent of the five long passes that he tried.
He took 91 touches in the clash, but lost possession just once, in an assured on-the-ball display for Emery’s men.
He had 21 carries for a total distance of 172.3m, as he tried to take his side out of danger and get the ball forward for his teammates.
Konsa made three interceptions, two clearances, and five recoveries in a brilliant defensive display.

In terms of duels, he won five of the seven that he attempted on the ground and both that he contested in the air, in another imperious display.

Ollie Watkins miserable again in Villa defeat
Ollie Watkins has endured a dismal spell in front of goal recently, with just one goal in his last 10 appearances in all competitions.
The England forward had just one shot, and completed 73 per cent of his passes in the contest, per Sofascore.
The 30-year-old had just 24 touches, and lost possession 10 times, as he struggled to make an impact on proceedings.
He had a total of three carries, for a total distance of just 14.7m, which is not good enough when you are leading the line for a club that is challenging for the top places in the league.
He has scored eight goals this campaign, but surely his recent form will worry Three Lions manager Thomas Tuchel.
His spot in the World Cup squad could be under threat very shortly, if he cannot prove to the manager that he has what it takes to perform regularly.
