Everything we know about Morgan Rogers’ Aston Villa contract: Exit speculation, wages and more
Morgan Rogers has been strongly linked with a move away from Aston Villa this season.
The England international has been the standout star in claret and blue this season, becoming a real talisman under Unai Emery.
That has seen him contribute to 17 goals already this campaign, with the Villans still fighting at the top end of the Premier League.
His performances have made a massive impact, and that looks destined to earn him a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s England side at the World Cup.
That has unsurprisingly resulted in plenty of interest in Rogers’ signature moving into the summer, and now Villa News assesses everything we know about his current deal.

Morgan Rogers signed new deal in November 2025
The attacking midfielder has been linked to the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham in recent weeks, but is under contract in B6.
Villa knew exactly how great a player they had on their hands earlier in the campaign as they moved to tie him down to a new deal.
Unai Emery sat and smiled next to Rogers as he agreed fresh terms at Bodymoor Heath in November 2025.
Reports suggest that this deal runs until the summer of 2031, extending his original deal by another 12 months and increasing his base salary.
That has seemingly placed Rogers at the top end of the Villa pay scale, reflecting his importance in the squad right now.
What does Morgan Rogers earn at Aston Villa?
Excluding loanee Jadon Sancho, the former Middlesbrough man sits level with Youri Tielemans, Emi Martinez and Boubacar Kamara as top earners in B6.
That also sees him on a higher salary than other first-team stars like Amadou Onana, Ollie Watkins and John McGinn.
Aston Villa players’ weekly salaries:
- Youri Tielemans – £150,000
- Emi Martinez – £150,000
- Boubacar Kamara – £150,000
- Morgan Rogers – £150,000
- Amadou Onana – £140,000
- Lucas Digne – £135,000
- Ollie Watkins – £130,000
- John McGinn – £130,000
With Rogers linked to Chelsea, his current contract wouldn’t even come close to the top of their wage bill, as he is reportedly earning the same fee as Moises Caicedo.
The Blues could offer the Englishman a sizable pay increase, but whether he would accept that is yet to be seen.
Villa are in the driving seat and hold all the cards ahead of potential summer interest for their number 27, with their proactive transfer business now paying dividends.
