This is what Unai Emery did to Youri Tielemans in Aston Villa dressing room after furious clash
Unai Emery made his frustrations at Youri Tielemans absolutely clear in a remarkable incident during Aston Villa’s win over Fenerbahce.
Jadon Sancho scored the only goal of the contest, his first for the Midlands side, as they secured their place in the top eight of the Europa League group phase.
It means that Villa will not have to go through the play-offs, instead advancing straight into the last 16 of the competition on Thursday.
However, despite the positive result for Emery’s side, the Spaniard was fuming on the touchline in the closing stages of the game.

Tielemans played 92 minutes in central midfield against Fenerbahce before being replaced by George Hemmings for the final few moments.
However, as he exited the pitch, the Belgian international was screamed at by Emery for his reaction to the substitution, before being shoved by his manager.
Tielemans had obviously angered the Villa boss, who publicly took out his frustrations on the midfielder.
Emery is well known for demanding a lot from his players and is not afraid to let them know when he is unhappy with their actions.
Unai Emery hugs Youri Tielemans in dressing room
Immediately after the game, Emery brushed off any suggestion that there was bad blood between him and Tielemans.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, the Spaniard simply said, “He’s my son,” when asked for an explanation about the incident.
According to Jacob Tanswell, Emery and Tielemans also hugged it out in the dressing room after the game.
While some would see Emery’s very public criticism of Tielemans as disrespectful, his extremely high standards are one of the reasons why he has had so much success.
Villa now sit third in the Premier League and second in the Europa League group phase, and they wouldn’t be in such a superb position if it weren’t for the Spaniards hugely demanding personality.
Emery expects the very best from his players, and this season they have delivered for him.
