FA Cup fourth-round draw: Aston Villa ball number, TV channel and start time

Aston Villa are still in with a chance of winning the FA Cup for the first time since 1957.

Aston Villa beat Tottenham 2-1 in the third round on Saturday evening, piling the pressure on Spurs boss Thomas Frank even further.

Referee Craig Pawson was criticised for letting both teams get away with some strong challenges that they perhaps shouldn’t have done in the early stages, but nevertheless, it was Unai Emery‘s side that emerged victorious.

First half goals from Emi Buendia and Morgan Rogers gave Aston Villa a 2-0 lead at the interval, and despite an early Wilson Odobert goal in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, Villa saw out the game to progress to the next round.

It wasn’t all positive for Villa, though, as Boubacar Kamara was forced off injured after just nine minutes, and looks set for a spell on the sidelines.

When is the FA Cup fourth round draw?

Crystal Palace beat Aston Villa 3-0 in the semi-final last season, and as such, Emery’s men will have to reach the final if they are to improve on their most recent adventure in the FA Cup.

But, with the side going great guns in the Premier League, there will be a strong sense of belief and confidence that they can win the competition this season.

That Wembley final is still some way in the distance yet, however, and they must take care of business in the fourth round if they are to continue dreaming of lifting the famous trophy for an eighth time.

So, when will the fourth-round draw take place? Well, Villa will find out their next opponents on Monday 12 January, and it will take place before Liverpool’s tie with Barnsley.

The draw is scheduled to get underway at around 6:35pm GMT.

What channel is the FA Cup draw on?

Fans will be able to watch the FA Cup fourth-round draw live on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+, as well as the TNT Sports YouTube channel.

The fourth-round weekend will take place on Saturday, 14 February.

What ball number are Aston Villa?

Thirty-two teams will be in the hat for the fourth-round draw, all still harbouring dreams of a magical run to the final.

The ball number Aston Villa fans will be looking out for is number three.

Numbers for other teams of interest to Villa fans are: Wolves (one) and Birmingham City (27).
