‘Victor Lindelof acts as perfect role model after what he’s done at Aston Villa’
Victor Lindelof has become a well-appreciated figure at Aston Villa in recent weeks.
Lindelof signed for Villa after leaving Manchester United in what was seen as a largely uninspiring deadline day signing at Villa Park.
Jadon Sancho also signed from Man United, while Harvey Elliott joined from Liverpool, leaving the Sweden international to fly under the radar.
The defender has arguably proven to be the best of the three after coming in to start as Villa secured a 2-1 win away in Basel.
Lindelof has proven his worth in claret and blue already, with the 31-year-old seen as someone to learn from in B6.

Victor Lindelof is example professional at Aston Villa
Lindelof was superb for Villa away to West Ham and was arguably let down on the day by his central-defensive partner, Ezri Konsa.
The summer signing even picked up an assist, finding Morgan Rogers in a massive amount of space before he netted a worldie.
The Swede has certainly caught the eye of the B6 faithful and has been met with hugely positive reviews on social media in the past week.
Former Villa scout Bryan King is impressed by the signing and believes Lindelof is the ideal role model for someone like Sancho in the Midlands.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, King said: “I think the reason for Lindelof signing is because he can play centre-back and full-back, he’s good cover.
“It was a good piece of business because he’s a good squad player at his age.
“He looks as if he’s very happy to be picked for the games he plays, and he’s a good professional.
“Someone like Sancho could look at him and take a leaf from his book as a decent professional.

“He gets on with the job and represents the club well, and did that against Basel [and West Ham].“
Jadon Sancho could replicate Lindelof and improve
Sancho was easily one of the brightest talents in the world in his days at Borussia Dortmund, but he has never hit those heights since leaving.
The Englishman has seriously struggled in his Manchester United days and has been forced out on three separate loan deals.

His time at Chelsea was productive, but he now finds himself 13 games into his Villa career without a single goal involvement.
Lindelof has showcased the perfect attitude to come into the side and have a telling impact despite a lack of minutes, something which Sancho may look to learn from.
