‘Jadon Sancho doesn’t want to be at Aston Villa’ as explosive exit claim made

Jadon Sancho has come under heavy scrutiny for his behaviour at Aston Villa.

The Englishman started in mid-week as Aston Villa secured a 2-1 win over Basel, but was unable to make much impact for Unai Emery’s side.

Evann Guessand scored against Basel, but has also been slammed by the claret and blue faithful for a poor performance in the Europa League.

Sancho, as a fellow summer signing but from Manchester United, has been tarred with the same brush as he was taken off after 64 minutes in Switzerland.

Sancho was hooked, failed to react appropriately, and has now been heavily criticised once again at Villa Park.

Jadon Sancho slammed for angry reaction vs Basel

Sancho punched a seat on the Basel bench and quickly moved away from Emery after he was replaced by Morgan Rogers at St.Jakob-Park.

The Englishman had done precious little to warrant staying on the pitch, maintaining a largely consistent feeling from his claret and blue spell so far.

Former Villa scout Bryan King has been left angered by his reaction, especially with the sizable wages the forward is being paid in B6.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, King said: “Grow up. One day, he’ll look back and realise how much money he’s making from football.

All these players can sort themselves out with consistency in football if they start to get consistency in their lives away from football.

He was the best talent I saw at the under-17s EUROs. Where he’s gone wrong is off the field, because he really was a talent at Manchester City.

Sancho looks to me as if he doesn’t want to be at Villa. If that’s the case, then cheerio.

You don’t use a football club like Aston Villa as somewhere to earn money, you’re at a very big football club. There’s only so much they can tolerate.

When people start hitting out when they come off, and they’re upset, that’s fine, but make sure it’s in the dressing room.

It’s no good to make a scene.

Sancho could be facing exit door at Aston Villa

Emery will likely appreciate the passion of the Man United loanee, but may not be a fan of the public nature of his frustration.

The wide man may have been annoyed at his own performance, but that shouldn’t be felt by the manager or those on the bench around him.

Sancho is an experienced player at the top level and needs to start showing it every week; otherwise, his time at Villa will be largely pointless.

With performances like the one away to Basel, he won’t be a regular starter anytime soon in B6.
