Supercomputer makes new Arsenal and Aston Villa Premier League title prediction after dramatic scenes
Aston Villa fans will be dreaming about winning the Premier League after beating Arsenal on Saturday.
Emi Buendia was the hero at Villa Park on 6 December as he scored the winner in the last minute of the game in the 2-1 victory.
Pau Torres certainly must’ve left Unai Emery fuming after some of his moments in the game, but in the end, the Lions came out on top.
With the Villans now sitting just three points behind the Gunners in second place, there is reason to hope in B6.

Aston Villa have slim chance of winning Premier League after Arsenal win
Opta’s supercomputer has given Villa a 4.8 per cent chance of winning the Premier League after beating Arsenal at home.
It was a remarkable result at Villa Park for the hosts, who will feel they deserved the three points after a magnificent performance against the Premier League leaders.
The prediction comes ahead of Manchester City’s game against Sunderland on 6 December at the Etihad Stadium.
While Pep Guardiola’s team will be expected to be the favourites to challenge the Gunners this season, the Villans’ supporters will feel they should be in the conversation as well.
Emery will want to play the prospects of winning the league title, but he may not be able to stop the fans from dreaming of it.
As things stand, Arsenal still have a 76 per cent chance of lifting the Premier League trophy at the end of the season, with Man City at 15.69 per cent.
Villa Park sees history as Emi Buendia strikes late
Emery has done a brilliant job at Villa Park after a tough start to the season, and it’s the first time they’ve had nine wins from 10 league games since December 1919.
Under the Spanish manager, Villa are unbeaten in their three Premier League home games against sides starting the day at the top of the table, with 2 wins and one draw, with both victories coming against Arsenal.
Buendia scored the second-latest winner at 94:03 against the Gunners on record in the Premier League since 2006-07, after Neal Maupay’s goal for Brighton at 94:26 in June 2020.
It will be interesting to see how the Lions fare for the remainder of the campaign as Emery continues to succeed in B6.
