Supercomputer predicts outcome of Brighton vs Aston Villa Premier in League showdown
Unai Emery and Aston Villa’s five-game unbeaten streak could come to an end against Brighton on Wednesday.
Boubacar Kamara’s heroics secured all three points in Villa’s 1-0 win over Wolves on Sunday.
The result was the Villans’ third consecutive win in the Premier League since Villa’s defeat to Liverpool last month at Anfield.
This won’t be a record that Emery will want to end when Villa take on Brighton at the AMEX Stadium on 3 December, but the confrontation will be far from easy.

Aston Villa are not the favourites against Brighton
Villa are in for a difficult run of fixtures in the Premier League this month.
The Villans will battle against current league leaders Arsenal twice, as well as the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, before the month ends.
But Brighton is their first challenge, and Emery’s side are not the favourites to secure victory, according to Opta’s Supercomputer.
Fabian Hurzeler’s side have a 42.7 per cent chance of securing all three points while the Villans have a 30.6 per cent shot at continuing their winning streak.
There is a 26.7 per cent chance that the game ends in a draw.

After Villa’s win over Wolves, the Villans rose to fourth in the Premier League, and with a Champions League finish being Emery’s goal, his side will be determined to challenge the odds again.
Aston Villa’s record against Brighton gives reason to hope
Villa have won their last three confrontations against the Seagulls, which will certainly give fans hope despite their unfortunate odds.
The most notable was their colossal 6-1 win back in 2023, where Ollie Watkins netted a hat trick.
Watkins has struggled for Villa this season and has come under increased pressure to deliver for his side, being dropped versus Wolves.
The striker has netted four goals in his last five games against Brighton, and this could be the spark which lights his fire moving forward.
An in-form Watkins would grant Villa that extra little boost to achieve all their sporting aims this season.
With their recent record against the Seagulls and their current form in the Premier League, Villa fans will undoubtedly fancy their chances on Wednesday.
