Robbie Savage blown away by ‘incredible’ Morgan Rogers moment in Aston Villa vs Young Boy
Morgan Rogers had an excellent first half for Aston Villa against Young Boys.
Rogers scored a stunner against Leeds United last time around as he bagged a brace at Elland Road in the Premier League.
The England international has stepped up recently, and Rogers has been rewarded with a new Villa deal for his efforts.
That continued into the first half as Villa played host to Young Boys in the Europa League and go in at half time with a 2-0 lead thanks to a Donyell Malen brace.
The Villans have dominated, but it is Rogers who has been picked out as the shining light by Robbie Savage at Villa Park.

Morgan Rogers nearly provides assist vs Young Boys
Rogers was superb for Villa away to Leeds and once again proved exactly how important he is for Unai Emery’s side right now.
The 23-year-old has gone from strength to strength in recent weeks and only looks like getting better under the Spaniard’s reign.
He once again looked superb in spells against Young Boys as he looked to take the game by the scruff of the neck in the first half.
Rogers picked up a goal involvement for his efforts after a busy 45 minutes for the attacking midfielder.
Malen arguably should have tapped home a cross from the Englishman after a ball was played across the box with barely 15 minutes on the clock.

The finish may not have been there, but that didn’t stop Savage from piling massive praise on the cross live via TNT Sports on 27 November.
He said: “Great ball [from Rogers]. What a ball that is. Malen is on the stretch, but it’s an incredible ball across into a brilliant area.“
Rogers standing out for Aston Villa vs Young Boys
Malen has given the home side a deserved lead, but it is frustrating for Rogers that he hasn’t been credited with more than just one goal involvement.
Youri Tielemans picked up the assist for the opener and has arguably been the star performer alongside his 23-year-old colleague.
Rogers has maintained a stellar 88 per cent pass accuracy in B6 and has created two chances in that time, racking up an expected assists of 0.37.
The English attacking midfielder has also completed 100 per cent of his attempted dribbles, while taking three touches in the opposition box.
Add to this three successful ground duels, and you have a superb all-around performance in the first half of a European clash from a top player.
