Aston Villa star compared to Gareth Bale vs Leeds United as Joe Hart reveals his frustration
Joe Hart was left blown away as Aston Villa secured a 2-1 win against Leeds United on Sunday.
Villa took three points away from Leeds despite falling behind early on to a controversial Lukas Nmecha goal at Elland Road.
After Emi Martinez made a mistake against Liverpool, he was at it again as his antics allowed the German to open the scoring in West Yorkshire.
The Argentine had England World Cup squad hopeful, Morgan Rogers, to thank as his brace made all the difference in LS11.
Hart picked out Rogers after his showcase against Leeds, with one moment of true quality being directly compared to Gareth Bale.

Morgan Rogers compared to Gareth Bale vs Leeds United
Rogers has recently signed a new deal with Villa as his importance at Villa Park has been recognised by Unai Emery and Co.
That was on show against the Whites as the attacking midfielder’s brace made all the difference for the away side to secure all three points.
The Englishman’s first saw him convert a Donyell Malen cross in superb fashion, leaving Lucas Perri with no chance in the Leeds goal.
The Brazilian came under heavy scrutiny for Rogers’ second as his free kick dipped over the wall, but found the net near the centre of the net.
Hart spoke out on Match of the Day and compared the Villa star’s effort to Bale, while recalling the annoyance it used to cause him.
He said: “My experience of that technique is Gareth Bale. It used to frustrate me when I was at Tottenham, why he was kicking it so softly, with so much movement, and I wasn’t able to move because I couldn’t pick up the line.
“When I saw that, I was so impressed that’s the Emi Buendia technique to Morgan Rogers, but to me it was Gareth Bale.“
Aston Villa edge closer 238-match record vs Leeds United
Villa fans haven’t been accustomed to their side netting goals directly from free-kicks after years of frustration from dead-ball.
Lucas Digne netted a strike against Manchester United, but that came in Emery’s first match in charge and had remained the only set-piece strike in years.
That has changed in recent weeks as Buendia and Rogers have netted direct free-kicks in back-to-back Premier League games.
The Villans had scored just three from these situations in the previous 238 matches, stretching back to the start of the 2019 season.
If Rogers, Buendia and Co. can keep this sort of form up, it could prove to be a dangerous weapon for the claret and blue outfit moving forward.
