Aston Villa Champions League qualification chances predicted by supercomputer after win vs Leeds
Aston Villa secured an all-important win in their mission to qualify for the Champions League against Leeds United.
Villa beat Leeds 2-1 at Elland Road on Sunday despite falling behind early on after another Emi Martinez stinker away from Villa Park.
The first half was difficult for Unai Emery’s side, but Donyell Malen came on for Villa against Leeds and changed the tide in Yorkshire.
Morgan Rogers netted a stunning free kick at Leeds to bag a brace as he helped the Villans to secure three points on the road.
The England international’s goals made it six wins from seven in the Premier League, as the claret and blue outfit continue their dreams of a return to the Champions League.

Aston Villa top five finish predicted by supercomputer
Rogers left Ally McCoist astounded after his second Leeds strike, as he scored Villa’s second free-kick in as many games.
There is no guarantee that without the dead-ball goal, the away outfit would have stolen the lead in LS11 after a difficult afternoon at times.
Daniel Farke’s men dominated the first half, but Emery’s changes helped to turn things around and send Villa on their way to three points.
This continued the B6 outfit’s ascent up the Premier League table, leaving them sat in fourth after 11 games, ahead of Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Despite this, the Opta supercomputer has backed the current Premier League champions to finish in fourth ahead of Villa.

The Villans have been afforded a 33.03 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League, while being predicted to rack up 62.19 points to earn a fifth-place finish.
If this came to fruition, the Midlanders would finish being the Reds, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Aston Villa need Champions League qualification
After the terrible situation that the Villans found themselves in over the summer, they will be desperate to secure a place in Europe’s elite competition.
The financial benefits can’t be understated and could be the difference between Emery’s side regressing or progressing in the coming years.
The dream of qualifying is still strong after a stellar run of form that has seen Villa take advantage of poor results elsewhere.
Opta’s supercomputer may have Liverpool finishing ahead of the B6 club, but with their current trajectories, anything could happen this season.
