
Matty Cash reveals next destination once new Aston Villa contract expires – ‘I’m going to…’
Matty Cash has revealed that he intends to return to Poland once his Aston Villa contract runs out.
Aston Villa recently rewarded Cash with a new deal after negotiations, which will see the Polish international stay at B6 until 2029.
Cash has transformed himself in Villa’s defence of late, and is only showing signs of progression, while entering his peak footballing years.
Villa want success this season in the Europa League and Premier League, and the right-back will undoubtedly play a huge role in Unai Emery’s side achieving goals.
Now, Cash has explained his plans for his next club already, claiming the exact team he will join once his time at Villa Park is up.

Matty Cash says he will go to Legia Warsaw after Aston Villa
Cash officially switched his nationality in 2021 after applying for a Polish passport, which was then accepted and confirmed later in the same year.
The right-back qualified through his mother, who is Polish, and Cash has been enjoying time away with his nation ever since.

In September 2023, Aston Villa faced Legia Warsaw away from home UEFA Europa Conference League group stage, where Cash called the Polish fans “amazing”.
He was so impressed that he’s now determined to return to Legia Warsaw as a player.
Cash said, as quoted by Legia.net on Thursday: “I have goals to achieve at Aston Villa, and in four years, I’m going to Legia Warsaw.
“I remember their amazing fans. But for now, I’m not leaving Birmingham. We have a great coach who believes in me.”

Cash will be well into his thirties when he could move to Legia Warsaw, but the news only comes as a positive for Villa.

Right now, it seems like Cash is only getting better and better.
With the latest announcement, he’s pledging his future to Aston Villa even further by openly admitting the intention to see out his new contract.
This means that Emery and fans could see Cash improve further with the right back now 28.
