Supercomputer predicts result of Leeds vs Aston Villa in Premier League showdown

Aston Villa are expected to win comfortably against Leeds United on Sunday.

The Villans will travel to Elland Road to face Leeds in the Premier League on 17 November.

Before the November international break, Villa triumphed in a 4-0 home victory against Bournemouth to continue their successful run of form.

The win saw them rise to sixth in the league, but with UEFA Champions League football at the forefront of his mind, Unai Emery will be keen to continue his winning ways against Daniel Farke.

Villa set to dominate against Leeds

Villa’s away record in the Premier League this season has been less than ideal.

In five confrontations, Villa’s 2-1 win over Tottenham in October has been their only away victory.

However, Villa are set to dominate against Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday, according to Opta’s Supercomputer.

Indeed, the Villans have a 55 per cent chance of collecting all three points while the home side have a 22.8 per cent opportunity to possibly avoid the relegation zone.

There is a 22.2 per cent chance that the confrontation ends in a draw.

Given Villa’s poor away record this period, Emery will fancy those odds heading into the game.

Villa’s recent record against Leeds will inspire confidence

Villa’s more recent record against the Whites will inspire confidence among fans.

Indeed, the Villans have won three of their last five confrontations against Leeds, with two of these wins being fought away from home.

It’s an impressive record and one that supporters will desperately cling to given the state of their away form.

While most will have faith in the collective, all eyes will be on Ollie Watkins, who has struggled for Villa this season. The striker has netted just one goal in the Premier League thus far.

For reference, Villa scored four goals against Bournemouth in their previous league game, and Watkins failed to register a single goal contribution.

Therefore, fans will be expecting a solid performance from him and the rest of the team on Sunday.
