‘Incredible’ gem could be next as Morgan Rogers signs new Aston Villa contract
Aston Villa could continue their contract activity after Morgan Rogers signed a new deal.
Rogers has penned a contract extension with Villa to keep him in claret and blue until the summer of 2031.
The Villans confirmed the well-received news less than 24 hours after Villa beat Bournemouth 4-0 on Sunday at Villa Park.
The England international has followed Matty Cash and John McGinn, who also signed new deals with Villa earlier this season.
Having now announced a fresh contract for Rogers, Villa could be set to follow that up with the security of another star.

Youri Tielemans could sign new Aston Villa contract next
Rogers appears to have a Villa release clause in his new contract, with the hope of deterring any potential interest in his signature from elsewhere.
A similar policy has been utilised with other big names within the squad, but could be replicated in the coming months in the Midlands.
Villa have many players who are set to face contract expiry in 2027, who will all likely show an interest towards penning a new deal soon.
- Youri Tielemans
- Emi Buendia
- Tyrone Mings
- Marco Bizot
It is the Belgium internantional, Tielemans, who could be most likely to be tabled an offer next, as his departure could represent a massive blow.
The 28-year-old made a return from injury against Maccabi Tel Aviv and made what Lucy Ward described as an “incredible” through ball towards Donyell Malen, just minutes after coming on.
In just 15 minutes on the pitch in the Europa League, he maintained a 96 per cent pass accuracy across his 23 attempts and created a chance for the Dutchman.
He also completed one cross and one accurate long ball before being entrusted with corner-taking duties by Austin MacPhee.
This was just a snapshot of what fans can expect, but there is good reason to expect that level will continue moving forward.
Tielemans most deserving of new deal at Villa Park
Buendia may be in electric form right now, but getting his midfield teammate tied down to a new deal should be of paramount importance.
After signing on a free transfer from Leicester City, the Anderlecht academy product has played a massive part in getting Villa to where they are now.
He has been seriously missed in recent months after an injury issue continued to linger, persisting from the moment he was forced off against Everton.

Once he builds up his match fitness and sharpness, he will be a guaranteed starter under Emery and is only likely to improve the Villans.
Should he maintain the performance level B6 has become accustomed to, there is no reason why he won’t be the next to sign a new deal after Rogers.
