Villa Park fan guide: How to get to Aston Villa’s stadium by train, bus and car
Aston Villa have one of the greatest stadiums in English football to call home.
Villa Park is a beautiful ground and is truly distinctive, with the historic tiles of the Holte End representing a true sign of tradition.
Unai Emery has brought excellent football to this arena, with Villa beating Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in the past year.
Holte Enders in the Sky is a constant on Villa’s terraces, as its unique nature perfectly reflects the surroundings in B6.
Villa Park has recently hosted Black Sabbath, among other music acts, alongside regular football, and welcomes thousands of people through the turnstiles throughout the year.

How to get to Villa Park by car
Villa are looking to redevelop Villa Park in the coming months and years as they continue to improve the famous old ground.
Construction is still a while off, and for now, the stadium is still accessible in several ways for travelling supporters.
Villa Park is located in Witton, just over two miles from Birmingham city centre.

You can type the postcode B6 6HE into your satnav to get driving directions, but nearby roads are shut hours before kick-off on matchday.
If you are coming from outside of Birmingham, the best way to reach Villa Park is to take the M6, exit at Junction Six towards Birmingham, and then follow Lichfield Road.
Villa offer parking via their official website at Y International and St Edwards VI School:
- Y International – Park & Walk (15 minute walk) – £15
- King Edward VI Aston School – Park & Walk (8 minute walk) – £20
You should plan to arrive at these locations with plenty of time as traffic delays are common on matchdays.
How to get to Villa Park by public transport
Villa Park is surrounded by two train stations, Aston and Witton, which are both accessible from Birmingham New Street.
Aston station is a 15-minute walk away, while Witton is nearer at just five minutes.
These provide regular services on matchdays, although the stations are known to get hugely busy after the full-time whistle.
The B6 club do run a shuttle bus on matchdays from Birmingham City Centre to Aston and then from Grosvenor Road to the City Centre.
