Supercomputer predicts Go Ahead Eagles vs Aston Villa Europa League result
Unai Emery will be hoping to extend Aston Villa’s unbeaten streak when they take on Go Ahead Eagles in the UEFA Europa League.
Aston Villa collected all three points against Tottenham in their first game back from the international break.
Morgan Rogers brought Emery’s side level before Emi Buendia netted the winner for Villa in a cameo fans will not be forgetting anytime soon.
Now that Emery has restored fans’ confidence after a shaky start to the season, a win will be his chief priority when Villa travel to face Go Ahead Eagles at De Adelaarshorst on Thursday.

Aston Villa heavy favourites against Go Ahead Eagles
Villa triumphed over Feyenoord in their most recent Europa League game and it looks like fans are in for another strong display.
According to Opta’s Supercomputer, Villa are the heavy favourites to win the contest.
Indeed, the travelling side have a 77.8 per cent chance of claiming all three points and making it three out of three wins in Europe for Emery this season.

As a result, any other outcome than a convincing victory on Thursday would be both a surprise and disappointment for supporters.
How have Aston Villa performed in the UEFA Europa League so far?
Villa have had a strong start to their UEFA Europa League campaign according to Sofascore.
- The Villans have created 1.5 big chances per game
- Villa have managed 3.5 shots on target
- However, they have netted 1.5 goals
Defensively, Emery’s side has been solid having kept two clean sheets in two games played with only three errors leading to a shot on goal.
Furthermore, Villa have made 23.5 clearances per game and 7.5 saves in a defensive effort which the side can be proud of.
Given the statistics, it is unsurprising that the Villans are the overwhelming favourites to win on Thursday. But football can be unpredictable.
As a result, Emery will need to devise a gameplan which accounts for all possibilities against Go Ahead Eagles.
But with the tactical discipline and talent that Villa has on display, fans will likely have something to celebrate once the final whistle is blown.
