Aston Villa could sign off on new £100m Morgan Rogers agreement as new contract details revealed
Aston Villa could struggle to keep hold of Morgan Rogers in upcoming transfer windows.
Rogers was excellent as England beat Wales at Wembley on Thursday after what has been a difficult start to the season at Villa Park.
Unai Emery has continued to back the attacking midfielder, even after Villa fans ironically cheered Rogers against Bologna when he completed a simple pass.
England fans have continued to love Rogers and his performances on the international stage, culminating in his first Three Lions goal last time out.
These sorts of performances won’t go unnoticed as a deal looks set to be agreed for Rogers in B6 ahead of his return from international duty.

Morgan Rogers in £100m valuation at Aston Villa
Rogers was strongly linked to Chelsea in the summer after such an excellent campaign last time around.
The 23-year-old was the breakout star of the Premier League season after becoming a regular in claret and blue.
Having contributed to 27 goals in all competitions for the Villans, it is little surprise that interest peaked in his signature throughout the summer window.
Villa managed to keep hold of the Englishman, but could still face future trouble in keeping hold of the man signed from Middlesbrough in January 2024.
In an effort to cement his place in B6 for the long term, The Sun have reported on 12 October that Villa are keen to tie Rogers down to a new contract.
The Villans don’t want to put the ex-West Brom youngster in their highest-paid player bracket but are said to want insurance against losing the attacking midfielder.
A release clause looks set to be added to any fresh deal that would take his value into a group of stars worth in and around £100million.
Rogers could complete record-breaking Villa Park exit
Villa sold Jack Grealish for a then-Premier League record £100m to Manchester City in 2021.
The captain’s departure was seen as a kick in the teeth to the Villans after losing their best player and local lad.

Rogers’ potential exit for a fee in a similar region could be in the pipeline should he put pen to paper on a new deal in the coming weeks and months.
It is unclear as to who could come in for his signature in January or next summer, but they will have to pay a premium to land the Englishman if they make a move.
