Ollie Watkins can punish Everton once more as Aston Villa star holds exceptional record
Aston Villa are desperate for their first win of the season, having yet not so much as scored a goal in the Premier League.
Unai Emery’s side are the only team not to score in the league, as they sit 19th in the table.
Aston Villa’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace has caused concern amongst fans, as they already need to make up ground if they are to qualify for Europe again this season.
Their next match sees them travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for a tough match against in-form Everton.

Villa completed the double over Everton last season, with Watkins scoring three goals across both meetings.
They haven’t lost a league meeting against Everton since 2016, whilst Everton’s third round EFL Cup win in 2023 is their only triumph over Villa in that time period.
Watkins has been in red hot form against Saturday’s opponents, and Emery must rely on him to do the business once more.
Indeed, Watkins has five goals and three assists in 10 matches against Everton, winning eight of those games.

Unai Emery needs to get Evann Guessand firing for Villa
Guessand has been underwhelming so far, with his performance against Palace coming under intense scrutiny.
Guessand was also benched for Ivory Coast during the international break, and he just needs that first goal to get him up and running for the club.
His £30m fee means he will need to be effective when he starts out wide, whilst also providing competition for Watkins in the main striker role.
As Watkins looks to extend his impressive tally against Everton, Guessand will just be looking to get off the mark for his new club.
