Everton vs Aston Villa result predicted by supercomputer

Aston Villa will be looking to get their season up and running with a positive result against Everton.

Villa were thrashed 3-0 by Crystal Palace in their last outing, a result that leaves Unai Emery’s men sat 19th in the Premier League.

The Villans are the only side in the division to not have scored yet, but possible debuts for Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott against Everton could help turn their goalscoring fortunes around.

The game on Saturday will be Villa’s first trip to Everton’s new home, the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the travelling Villa supporters will be hoping it develops into a happy hunting ground for them.

Villa narrowly predicted to beat Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Morgan Rogers could benefit from Elliott and Sancho’s arrivals, with Villa’s ace from last season starting the new campaign slowly.

In fact, the entire forward line has been quiet so far.

Star striker Ollie Watkins has been limited to just two shots on target in the opening three games, and for Villa to pick up their first three points of the season, this will have to change.

The game will be far from easy, especially when considering the form former Villa captain Jack Grealish is displaying at his new club, with his form inspiring them to back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

Opta’s supercomputer has predicted the winner of what they expect to be a tightly contested match.

With Villa linked with Grealish earlier in the summer, this would make any potential goal from their former player sting that much more.

Aston Villa historically successful vs Everton in Premier League

If history is anything to go by, Villa should be the heavy favourites going into Saturday’s matchup.

The Villans and Everton have met on 54 occasions in the Premier League, with the B6 outfit winning 22 of those meetings.

Everton have only managed to win 13, with the other 19 games ending in a draw.

Emery will be hoping history repeats itself, allowing Villa to move on from their disastrous start to the season.
