Aston Villa make shock Lucas Paqueta approach as loan-to-buy terms revealed
Aston Villa have maintained their interest in signing Lucas Paqueta before the end of the window.
Paqueta has been a surprise target for Villa this summer as Unai Emery looks to add to his squad before the 1 September deadline.
In the past, the Paqueta has been rated at over £100million by West Ham, but a deal could now be on the cards at Villa Park after a turbulent summer.
This has seen former B6 Scout Bryan King suggest that Pauqeta wants a Villa move after a difficult period at West Ham in recent months.
As a result, a fresh approach could be made by the Villans to land Paqueta, with a loan deal potentially in the pipeline for the claret and blue outfit.

Aston Villa to sign Lucas Paqueta on loan
The need for attacking depth in the Midlands can’t be overlooked and is something that needs to be changed before the end of the window.
This could see a move for the Brazil international make complete sense, even if Villa have been handed a £60m price tag for Paqueta by the Hammers.
Given the financial concerns that Emery and Monchi have had to deal with, it appears unlikely that a fee in that region will be spent this summer.
As a result, a temporary switch this campaign for the 28-year-old could make sense for the Villans as the transfer deadline edges closer.
Now, the Daily Mail have reported on 30 August that Villa have asked West Ham about a potential loan with an obligation to buy Paqueta.
An initial proposal featuring a £45m transfer fee with an additional £5m was turned down by the Irons, who want a permanent deal for the attacking midfielder.

Aston Villa could revitalise Lucas Paqueta
If a loan switch could be agreed, it could be the perfect opportunity to take a faltering attacker and return him to his previously excellent form.
In his time at Lyon, the Brazilian was simply superb, and as a result, his move to the London Stadium was a source of jealousy for many Premier League clubs.

Although it hasn’t completely worked out for him at West Ham, his form was once good enough to attract heavy interest from Manchester City.
The court case and everything surrounding him has clearly impacted Paqueta, so a fresh page under Emery could be exactly what he needs.
There is no doubt that the Spaniard could get the best out of the number 10 in what could prove to be an excellent piece of business for the Villans.
