Aston Villa star now lined up for German transfer after talks with Arsenal break down
Aston Villa could sanction a few departures in the final week of the transfer window, and there could be a domino effect involving several clubs.
Villa have had a fairly quiet window amid frustrations over PSR rules, and they have completed a big sale as Jacob Ramsey joined Newcastle.
Unai Emery is yet to replace the midfielder, but he could find another option leaves his squad in the coming days as there is now interest in one of his outcasts.
New players could still arrive at Aston Villa, with Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku among those targeted, and another sale would create more space in the squad for a new addition.

Stuttgart target Emi Buendia transfer
Emi Buendia’s future is up in the air, and he could now depart this summer with German side Stuttgart interested in a deal.
The Birmingham Mail have reported that Stuttgart are keen on signing Buendia, either on a loan deal or a permanent transfer, but it is unclear what Villa’s stance over the Argentinian is.
| Stat | Buendia |
| Appearances | 98 |
| Goals | 10 |
| Assists | 9 |
Buendia spent part of last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen after falling down the pecking order under Emery, but the midfielder came on as a substitute for the injured Boubacar Kamara against Brentford at the weekend.
With Ramsey departing, Emery may wish to keep Buendia for depth, but it is clear that Stuttgart want a player of his profile, after another of their deals collapsed.

Stuttgart want Emi Buendia after Fabio Vieira deal collapsed
The Sun journalist Jordan Davies recently reported that Stuttgart wanted Arsenal outcast Fabio Vieira, as an attacking midfielder who can also play out wide, and were willing to pay over £17 million for him.
However, a deal recently collapsed, and Stuttgart have now turned their attention to Buendia as a result.
Villa could end up lucking out as a result of their Premier League rivals failing to agree the sale. They could get Buendia’s wages off the books, and potentially demand a bigger fee than previously anticipated, now they know what Stuttgart’s spending potential looks like.
If Buendia does depart, it could enable Villa to bring in another attacking player before the deadline, after they failed to score in their opening two Premier League games.
