Nicolas Jackson on verge of Chelsea exit: How much he would cost Aston Villa
Nicolas Jackson is on Aston Villa’s radar again as he looks set to leave Chelsea.
Jackson arrived at Chelsea in 2023 for £32million from Villarreal, but has struggled to adapt to English football consistently during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are looking to cash in on the Senegalese striker this summer after signing both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, with fellow forward Christopher Nkunku also set to leave.
Villa are interested in bringing Jackson to the Midlands, as rumours about Ollie Watkins’ future at Villa Park continue to rage on.

Chelsea expected to demand £60m for Jackson
If Unai Emery’s side are to get their hands on Jackson, they will need to pay a large sum to get him out of Stamford Bridge.
It has been widely reported that Chelsea would accept £60m to let go of the striker, as Newcastle United have been exploring a deal, given their issues regarding Alexander Isak.
This is a discount on Chelsea’s original £80m valuation for Jackson, but Villa may be put off from a deal by the price, with the club having faced multiple PSR issues in the past.
In terms of wages, the Senegal international is on a moderate wage given his price tag, only earning £100,000-a-week in West London.
Jackson’s arrival could spell the end for Watkins at Villa
Watkins’ future at Villa Park is still in doubt, with the striker notably courting interest from Manchester United and Newcastle.
While United can be ruled out after their move for Benjamin Sesko, the Geordies could still return for the Englishman as they need forward reinforcements.

Jackson can provide what Watkins can as they are very similar strikers, while a move to the Midlands could get the striker out of the spotlight, allowing him to shine under his former boss.
