Jhon Duran has personally told ‘supernatural’ Aston Villa star to join him at Fenerbahce

Jhon Duran left Aston Villa over six months ago but he could be about to have another big impact in the next few weeks.

The 21-year-old quickly began to forge a reputation as a scorer of important and spectacular goals in a claret and blue shirt last term, before he controversially decided to move to Saudi Arabia in January.

Duran turned his back on Villa, but is now likely to regret that decision as he has watched his move to the Middle East slowly fall apart throughout the summer.

The frontman has been touted for a return to the Premier League in recent weeks, but has ultimately ended up at Fenerbahce, where he is still trying to influence events in B6.

Duran urges Youri Tielemans to leave Villa amid Fenerbahce offer

Youri Tielemans is becoming increasingly important at Villa as the new Premier League campaign rapidly approaches on the horizon.

The midfielder was one of the most consistent performers for Unai Emery’s side last term, and he is quickly becoming one of the first names on the team sheet at Villa Park.

The Villans can consider themselves lucky that they haven’t faced much transfer interest in the Belgian so far this summer, but they could now be about to face a nightmare scenario so close to the season.

Tielemans is understood to be the subject of a transfer bid from Fenerbahce, according to Turkish outlet Sporx.

The Super Lig giants are in ongoing contact with Villa about a possible deal, with the selling club thought to be holding out for a significant fee.

Concerningly for the West Midlanders, Tielemans is believed to be keen on the move, after receiving contact from Duran, who has provided the 28-year-old with information about Fenerbahce.

Villa will now be nervously awaiting the outcome of Duran’s discussion, in the hope that their star does not ultimately have his head turned.

Aston Villa can’t let Tielemans leave

Tielemans’ importance to Villa should make their handling of this transfer offer very simple.

The former Leicester man has become a linchpin for Emery’s side in the middle of the park in the two campaigns since his move across the Midlands, and to lose him at this stage of the summer would be a major blow.

He has previously been branded as “supernatural” by John Townley on The Claret and Blue Podcast, and the level of influence that he carries simply cannot be underestimated.

Tielemans was comfortably one of his side’s most reliable midfield options last term, and with just over two weeks to go until the transfer window draws to a close, his exit would leave the Villa Park outfit with very little time to secure a capable replacement.

They must do everything they can to keep hold of him now, even if that means promising to move him on in January.
