Palhinha expected to clear his medical despite significant muscle injury

While Villa may take a closer look at his muscle injury from last season, he’s not expected to face issues with his medical.

Aston Villa are keen on signing Palhinha as he’s currently unhappy in Germany.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “Villa may take a closer look at his significant muscle injury from last season to see if there’s any relation to past injuries and/or recurring injuries.

“However, gauging his overall injury record and game time, I do not see this being a high-risk signing.

“I expect him to clear his medical.”

Aston Villa should sign Palhinha

Aston Villa will have seen how effective Palhinha has been in the Premier League and will want that impact

The Villa Park outfit need a ball winner in midfield and signing him can give them exactly that.

The Portuguese star, known for his tackles and interceptions per game at Fulham, offers unmatched tenacity and ball-winning ability, crucial for Villa’s high-pressing, structured system.

His 90.1% pass accuracy ensures reliable distribution, complementing Villa’s attacking transitions.

With European football, Palhinha’s experience in high-stakes matches and leadership would bolster Villa’s midfield, providing stability and allowing creative players like Youri Tielemans to thrive, making him a cornerstone for Emery’s ambitions.
