Emi Martinez has been strongly linked with an Aston Villa exit.

There is very few Villa fans who would actually like to see the World Cup winner depart the Midlands before the new campaign.
With that being said, Monchi and Co. will be keen to get the wage bill down, and it is fair to say that the keeper’s exit would go some way to doing exactly that.
As a result, a deal for someone like Lucas Chevalier at Lille makes complete sense, but as it stands, no deal has gone through for either shot stopper.
With that being said, the injury to Onana could help speed up any transfers this summer as each side looks to prepare for the new campaign.
