Done Deal: Aston Villa confirm Mulley agreement as manager speaks out
Aston Villa are having a difficult transfer window up to this point.
Keeping up with the transfer rumours has been tough reading for Villa supporters, with key players like Emi Martinez and Ollie Watkins being linked with moves away.
Morgan Rogers is another player among those who could leave Villa Park, with the talented midfielder recently being spotted wearing another club’s shirt.
If Villa want to get back in the Champions League next season, high-profile signings will be needed to help Unai Emery achieve his goal.

Trai-Varn Mulley signs first professional contract with Villa
Ferran Torres could be the sort of player to help fire Emery’s side back into the premier European competition, with the Villans said to be interested in the former Manchester City man.
With Villa’s previous PSR issues, the club’s academy is arguably more significant than ever before.
Promising academy graduates like Jacob Ramsey, for example, can be useful players for the first team, or they can be attractive assets to sell if a sizeable offer comes in, with academy graduates generating pure profit to help Villa’s finances.
In an announcement on Aston Villa’s website (4 July), the club confirmed that Trai-Varn Mulley has signed his first professional contract in B6.
Mulley featured for Villa’s Under-18 and Under-21 sides last season, with the forward playing a vital role in the the latter winning an unprecedented domestic treble.
Regarding the announcement, Academy manager Mark Harrison said: “Trai-Varn is an exciting wide player who is very good in 1v1 attacking situations.
“Trai-Varn was a member of the Under-18s squad which won the Premier League National Final and FA Youth Cup double last season, scoring an important goal in the semi-final against Manchester United.
“He has been at the Academy for the last five years and is a local lad. We look forward to seeing how Trai-Varn develops over the coming years.”

Mulley contract is a positive for Emery
As brutal as it may seem, Villa tying Mulley down to a contract ensures that, at a minimum, they have a sellable asset that could help balance the books if needed.
Those who attend Villa Park regularly will be hoping the youngster can eventually establish himself in Emery’s starting XI.
Aside from Ramsey, there have not been many young players to break through from the academy as of late and other young talent like Louie Barry do not look as though they have a future at Villa.
With Villa’s pre-season on the horizon, Mulley could potentially feature as he aims to impress Emery.
And now that he has put pen to paper, expect young talent Mulley to simply go from strength to strength.
