‘Aston Villa to seal £50m+ Elliott transfer’ after new clause reveal at Liverpool
Aston Villa have now learned how much they will pay if they are to land Harvey Elliott this summer.
The Villans looked to have moved into July without any PSR concerns after NSWE agreed to the sale of the Women’s team at Villa Park.
This could open up Monchi to kickstart transfer business to help build a squad ready for the campaign in the Premier League and the Europa League.
With that in mind, Villa have now learned they will have to outlay at upwards of £50million to land Elliott from Liverpool after links with a B6 switch.

Liverpool set Elliott price tag after Aston Villa links
There is certainly going to be a need for attacking reinforcements at Villa Park as the window goes on.
This comes after both Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio departed the Midlands at the end of their respective six-month loan deals.
It is fair to say that the 22-year-old could prove to be an excellent option despite being a bit-part player at Anfield in recent years.
That didn’t stop the attacking midfielder from being named as player of the tournament at the U21 EUROs after netting five goals, including the opener in the final.

It is fair to say that this won’t have harmed interest in his signature, with Aston Villa seemingly continuing their interest in Elliott.
If the Villans want to bring him in, they will now have to pay a sizable fee with Liverpool set to demand over £40m plus a buy-back option for his signature [The Athletic, 1 July].
If this clause isn’t wanted in B6, a fee upwards of £50m is likely to be demanded by Arne Slot and FSG for the former Fulham youngster.

Elliott fee could end Aston Villa interest
With the direction that Villa are going in under Unai Emery, it feels highly unlikely that a buy-back option would be accepted ahead of the new campaign.
As a result, a fee over £50m may prove to be a step too far for a player who hasn’t truly proven himself as a starting regular in the Premier League.
Sticking with Morgan Rogers and utilising him in that number 10 role could prove to be much more beneficial, with funds then to be distributed elsewhere in the squad.
