Aston Villa PSR deadline: Deals Monchi could seal before midnight
Aston Villa could be in for a hectic night, with the 30 June PSR deadline imminent.
It has been a very slow start to the window for Unai Emery‘s side, who have a lot of work to do this summer if they are to find a way to bridge the gap on the teams that finished above them last season.
Several additions are certainly going to be needed at Villa Park if the Villans are to go one step further under the Spaniard next season.
However, in order to make way for some additions, a handful of players may have to leave, with Villa News looking at some of the deals which could be concluded by midnight tonight.

Coventry set to sign Kaine Kesler-Hayden
Kaine Kesler-Hayden spent the last campaign on loan at Championship side Preston, where he would go on to win their Player of the Season award.
There was a feeling that he could have a part to play for Aston Villa next season, but instead, a permanent move to Coventry is now on the cards.
Villa will bank £3.5million as a result of his exit, which will go down as pure profit given the fact that he is from the academy.
From a PSR perspective, that is a deal that makes sense and will help balance the books in the Midlands.

Villa ready to sanction Kosta Nedeljkovic exit
Kesler-Hayden may not be the only defender to leave Aston Villa today, with Kosta Nedeljkovic also linked with an exit from Villa Park.
The Serbian full-back, like Kesler-Hayden, spent the last campaign out on loan, this time with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, who have already shown an interest in signing him permanently.
It has since been reported that Villa have opened talks with the German side over his exit, with hopes of reaching an agreement.
Once again, given the lack of game time anticipated for him next season, his sale would benefit all parties.

Tottenham could launch late bid to sign Jacob Ramsey
Jacob Ramsey has shown his ability from time to time, but a lack of consistency has prevented him from making any real progress under Emery.
Tottenham have been linked with a move, though their reluctance to sign off on any big-money deals could hinder the chance of this happening.
Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Premier League | 29 | 1 | 5 |
Champions League | 10 | 1 | 2 |
Domestic Cup Competitions | 6 | 2 | 0 |
With that said, given the fact that he would also be sold for pure profit, Villa might lower their asking price of the midfielder, which could in turn see Spurs launch a late bid to sign him.

Aston Villa Women set to be sold
A report from David Ornstein this afternoon has confirmed that Villa have now agreed a deal to sell their women’s team to holding company V Sports.
By doing so, it will be a huge weight off the shoulders of Aston Villa from a PSR perspective.
Natalia Arroyo’s side finished sixth in the WSL last season, with hopes of improving next campaign, with the sale raising no issues with the Premier League rules.
