‘Garnacho deal could spell end for Jacob Ramsey’ amid Aston Villa transfer update
Jacob Ramsey may face a sudden Aston Villa exit if Alejandro Garnacho is to sign.
There is plenty of positivity surrounding Englishman and what he can add to the claret and blue outfit when fully fit.
The problem for the 24-year-old is that he never seems to avoid injury issues for too long, which leads to an unstable place in the squad under Unai Emery.
This may not bode well for Ramsey moving forward, especially if the Spaniard were to land the signing of Garnacho from Manchester United this summer.
Garnacho could soon sign for Aston Villa
Strong links have continued to surround the Argentina international and Villa Park as the rumour mill continues to roll on.
This comes as the winger looks destined to move on from Old Trafford as his relationship with the Red Devils continues to grow sour.
It is fair to say that this wasn’t helped by an image of the 20-year-old wearing a Marcus Rashford Villa shirt while on holiday.
This could point towards a move to B6 being on the cards, or just him wearing the shirt of a friend, either or.
With that being said, the availability of a potential star like Garnacho for as little as £55million could prove to be a real coup.
If that sort of fee were to be spent on the attacker, it is fair to imagine that a current member of the squad could be cast aside, and that could prove to be Ramsey.
Ramsey could be replaced by Garnacho at Aston Villa
It is no secret that Aston Villa have PSR issues that Nassef Sawiris and Co. will be keen to deal with as the summer window goes on.
As a result, a big-name sale could be a requirement at some stage, especially if other sales for fringe players like Leander Dendoncker and Kaine Kesler-Hayden aren’t agreed in B6.
Ramsey has already been linked to Newcastle United, and their interest could be the perfect opportunity to land Garnacho this summer.
