Aston Villa star Bailey reacts to mega Liverpool transfer confirmation
Leon Bailey’s future at Aston Villa is uncertain.
The Villans failed to qualify for the Champions League, with Profit and Sustainability Rules set to hamper their plans for the transfer window as a result.
The Jamaican could be sacrificed due to a miserable personal campaign at Villa Park in which he notched just one goal and two assists in 24 Premier League matches.

Bailey reacts as Wirtz seals Liverpool move
Unai Emery could only dream of being able to spend £100million on one player at the moment.
However, Liverpool do not have those concerns and have forked out that amount of Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz.
The 22-year-old played with Bailey with the German outfit before his move to B6 and the Villa man congratulated Wirtz on his switch to Merseyside.
The Reds took to Instagram to confirm the deal and Bailey commented with two hands up emojis and two clapping hands emojis.
Aston Villa would dream of Liverpool spending spree
The Villans cannot afford to spend such huge amounts on players, as a result of the PSR concerns that they have, which is a huge blow for their future plans.
Villa may have to sell the likes of Bailey and Morgan Rogers to be able to make signings that will improve their team in the transfer window.
Emery requires significant upgrades to his squad if they are to get back into Europe’s top competition, with Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio set to depart upon the expiry of their loan deals and Emi Martinez potentially set for an exit.
If the Villans can get a big fee for Bailey, who underperformed massively last season compared to his usual standards, it would certainly help Emery and Monchi to achieve their ambitions in the market.
Many observers have questioned whether PSR rules are built to ensure that the elite clubs stay in that bracket and it seems that is the case, considering it is the Anfield outfit who have spent big this time.
It does not seem fair that the B6 outfit, who were among Europe’s elite last season, have to scrimp and save, while their rivals can blow huge sums on mega deals.
