‘Sancho to join Aston Villa’ after Manchester United make ruthless decision

Jadon Sancho has had a tough time in England since he joined Manchester United in 2021.

The former England international struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford and has since had loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

With the winger now back in Manchester, Aston Villa have been linked with Sancho in a possible loan deal.

Sancho left out of Manchester United’s pre-season tour squad

With pre-season now just around the corner, multiple teams are preparing their squad for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

Manchester United are no different, with a massive improvement needed by Ruben Amorim after their awful finish to last season.

As a result, according to The Sun (19 June), the manager is set to banish four stars from their upcoming pre-season tour in the USA.

Anthony, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are all set to be left out as Amorim makes a ruthless decision.

The latter three have all been linked to Aston Villa this window, as Emery looks to make improvements to his attack.

Given this development, Sancho will now surely sign for Aston Villa. The Birmingham outfit has already registered interest in the winger, and now is the perfect time to put in an offer.

The 25-year-old would add an extra dimension to Villa’s attack and could help propel Emery’s side back into the Champions League.

Sancho would be a good addition for Villa on loan

Sancho would definitely be a good signing for Villa this summer, but only on loan.

Emery cannot sanction a permanent move for the winger, given his poor track record in England.

However, a loan move carries little risk, and the 25-year-old could easily be one of the Birmingham outfit’s best players this season.

Hopefully, Sancho feels that he has a point to prove and will seek a move to Villa to improve his diminishing reputation.
