Morgan Rogers sends two-word message to Cole Palmer as Chelsea win Conference League
Aston Villa ace Morgan Rogers has reacted after Cole Palmer and Chelsea secured the Conference League title on Wednesday.
The Blues secured a 4-1 win against Real Betis on 28 May to lift their first piece of major silverware since the Champions League in 2021.
This came despite going 1-0 down within nine minutes before scoring four from the 65 minute onwards in Wroclaw.
Palmer was a key catalyst in this comeback at the Tarczynski Arena, with the Chelsea-linked Rogers sharing his reaction at full-time.

Rogers reacts to Palmer after Conference League win
There has been no shortage of transfer links for Villa’s 22-year-old after missing out on Champions League football.
A controversial defeat for Unai Emery’s side confirmed a Europa League place, sparking a number of potential exits ready for the summer.
One of those has been the England international after a superb breakout season, in his first full campaign of Premier League action.

As a result, it is little surprise that Rogers would be linked with the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea moving into what is set to be a busy summer.
With that in mind, the number 27 has reacted to the Blues’ star man and his good friend Palmer after his stellar showing in the Conference League final.
The 23-year-old grabbed two assists and turned the game on its head to help secure the title for Enzo Maresca’s side.
This sparked a reaction from Rogers via Instagram (29 May), as he said: “Locked in.”
Rogers could point towards Aston Villa switch to Chelsea
With Villa missing out on a top-five spot and the monetary benefits of Champions League football, departures do feel likely.
This has already seen Emi Martinez be strongly linked with an exit despite the summer window not yet being opened in B6.
Rogers could potentially be set to follow the Argentina international out the door at Villa Park, with a move to Chelsea potentially in the pipeline.
The Blues haven’t been shy about splashing the cash, and a chance to link up with close friend Palmer in Europe’s elite competition may be too much to be turned down.
